Ashby Ivanhoe Football Club was formed in 1948, on 1st June 2020, the football club was reconstituted as a Community Interest Company, which means that it is a member owned, not for profit business. The football club has it's own ground with a clubhouse and spectator facility.

The club currently consists of two adult teams and 12 sides in the Junior section. The first team play in the Midland Football League Division One, with the Knights in the Leicestershire Senior League Premier Division. In the 2008/2009 season the club formed a Youth Team (Under 18’s) side who play in the Leicestershire Midweek Floodlit Youth League on Wednesday nights.

We are currently fundraising to purchase our ground and develop the site.

Our visions for the club are:

• Build on the great facilities to make them even better for football in our community.
• To create a COMMUNITY HUB, where people from the town can meet, hold their events and have a great family time.
• Welcome everyone - not just football related, but all sports and non-sport activities.
• To provide long term security of the ground for our community and club.

To achieve the visions we need to:

• Purchase the ground in December - final preparations are underway.
• Create a new 9 v 9 size floodlit artificial training pitch
• Build four changing rooms and two officials’ changing rooms
• Refurbish the clubroom and bar for extended community use
• Create on-site classroom and flexible multi-use space for football development, education, club meetings and other community use
• Build a new drainage scheme to the existing grass main pitch
• Create new frontage, signage and security gates with new car parking and landscaping
• Club office space

This will give us a 1500 capacity football ground with a community training facility.
