Ashby Ivanhoe Runners
We are a road, cross-country and social running club welcoming runners of all abilities (16 years and over), and have been based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch since 1985. We usually meet at Hood Park Leisure Centre.
We have strong affiliations with the Ivanhoe Robins Junior Athletics Club.
We organise the famous and very successful ALDI Ashby 20 road race held every year, 5 weeks before the London Marathon

Gate Gallop 10K 2021
Sunday 27th June saw the return of the Peel Road Runner’s Gate Gallop 10k. The Gate Gallop is part of the Burton & District Summer League programme and is an annual off-road running event in Tamworth which raises funds for St. Giles Hospice.
Autumn Update
This last couple of months has seen lots of running by club members including organised group runs, (non)parkrun on Saturday mornings and challenges set by the Club during lockdown.
Ultra, Duathlon & Leics 10k
26/10/2020 - Ultra, Duathlon & Leics 10k
On Saturday 24th October Ian Kirk completed a 50k Ultra along the Silkin Way from Iron Bridge through Telford by the River Severn. Ian finished in a time of 5 hours 14 minutes.
