Merlin Field Archers are a Field Archery Club based near Ashby. They were established in August 2017 by Merlin Archery and became an independent club in November 2019. The club is associated to the English Field Archery Association (EFAA) (Governing Body), but also host occasional competitions for Archery GB.

Ashby Sport Fun Day returned to the Bath Grounds last weekend - with the annual event praised for getting the town's youngsters active - showcasing nearly 30 clubs that the town has to offer. Last year, Ashby Sport was set up with a view to bringing the area's clubs together and working as one, rather than being separate.
